Custom built single speed bike.
This project is based around a lightweight Carrera road aluminium frame, which has been stripped and then customized with a very personal sticker art-work.
The decoration is custom for this project. Plenty of stickers of different style but with some themes in common: France (particularly Paris), London (and their iconic red buses), Super Mario and some positive messages (and others not that positive we must say! =p ). They have been clearcoated for a glossy, durable finish.
Stickers are also behind the transparent grips for an absolutely unique and cool looks. A truly custom bike.
Mechanically this is a quality, pretty lightweight machine. With plenty of alloy components, dual pivot brakes, Sugino Super Maxy cranks and so on. It makes for a super fast urban machine. It tips the scale at just 9.4 kg.
This project is 1 year old now, and therefore there are some marks and peeling in the stickers, but still looking fresh and fantastic.
It has been just serviced for the sale including:
- Hub bearings regreased.
- New headset.
- New Micheling Dynamic Sport tyres.
- New inner tubes.
- NEw Shimano sealed bottom bracket.
- New grips.
- New brake cables.
- New halflink chain.
