This bike has been used just a handful of times since purchased 25 years ago and it has been dry stored for the last years.
Serviced in our workshop to put it back safely on the road again, including:
- New Shimano HG chain.
- New pedals.
- New grips.
- New Michelin World Tour tyres with white wall.
- New brake cables.
- New gear cables,
- All bearings cleaned and relubricated with water-proof grease (bottom bracket, headset, wheel hubs).
Bike works as new and looks nearly new also. This is probably the best condition you can get for a unrestored, original condition vintage Peugeot.
Please note that whilst in nearly perfect nick for age, there are some marks of storage and a bit of pitting in some components, so not 100% perfect... but almost.
The bike itself is a lovely Peugeot ladies city bike, looking so charming in a pink-white finish.
Mechanically it has 12 speed (index), sharp cantilever brakes and plenty of accessories: bell, mudguards, chainguard, rear carrier, side stand, original pump and front/rear/side reflectors. Even the owners manual comes with it!
It is a very comfy bike to ride but reasonably fast also, so not only good for that Sunday ride; it will make a practical and quick commuter.
Overall, a unique opportunity to get a "new" vintage Peugeot in a fantastic colour scheme without the need of travelling in time back to 1990!
